Nothing to Lose, Giving hCG A Try

So it's been several months since I started on Metformin and nothing has changed with regard to my weight. I've become increasingly frustrated with myself which doesn't help my mental health.
I just came back from a business trip and I looked at my pictures and just felt worse. I'm at the heaviest I've ever been, 260 lbs.

I started looking into alternative weight loss programs and after researching hCG, reading about how good AND about how bad it was I decided: I have "PCOS", diet and exercise obviously isn't working, I'm not getting liposuction like my horrible endocrinologist suggested, so what the heck, it can't get any worse" I began searching for a clinic that did the protocol and boy is it hard to find one in DC! One of the clinics I called they asked a couple of questions about pre-existing conditions and I mentioned I was told I had PCOS. Immediately the person on the phone said "we have to treat that first or the weight won't stay off or you won't lose any at all". I asked how much is hCG...JUST $1600 for a 35 day round (this will mean something later). I asked how much is the PCOS treatment and what does it entail...JUST $1800 and it depends on the blood work, but it's supplements and medications to regulate it (I called BS). Called a couple of other places that tried to sell me fake hCG, others that said hhCG (homeopathic), and then I found Atlantis Medical Wellness Center. Their cost for the protocol...$800 This may seem a little steep but it included everything I needed except for the food and self-control. Dr. visits, phone consultations, medication and supplies. So I made my appointment and went in on June 18, 2011. I'm hoping that it will jumpstart my weightloss and the working out finally starts having an effect!
