Starting hCG

I went in for my appointment. Sat down with Rich @ the clinic and discussed hCG. I asked about the research I'd done, he said it was accurate and then he asked a few questions about my current eating habits, exercise routines, health conditions, etc. The next question was kind of funny: what about your social habits? Do you plan on traveling anytime soon? Do you go out to eat often? Luckily for me, both those answers were no, or so I thought at the time. Then he asked when would you like to start, do you want to make an appointment? Well I'm a get-it-done kind of person, I had my mind made up before I arrived so I said: Can we start right now? He asked are you sure, I said yes and then I mentioned I hate needles (which by the way is the best method of taking hCG). You will have to load for two days. He left, came back with my first injection. It was an insulin needle, tiny. He said inject every morning in the stomach, two inches below the belly button, now give it a try. I admit, I felt a little pinch but nothing more. We went back to talking about the loading. Basically he said "eat all the high fat foods you can for two days, the more the better, and on the third day begin the 500 calorie diet" 500 calories? Crazy right? Not really. hCG is releasing stored fat from your body, so the remainder of the calories the body needs for energy it's getting from that fat. My weight at the time of my appointment, day one of hCG: 255.8 lbs

In my researching day I stumbled upon the hCG Diet Info page. This has been one of the best tools in my hCG journey. I found SO much information on this page. The good, the bad, even a chat room for advice and support, it's all there. I joined the forums, even set up a profile and a little hCG blog. I'm hoping this will help during the next 40 days.
