There are some things you can do on your own to help aleviate the severity of some of your symptoms, and if it's your goal, get pregnant. Most of these are just common sense for women and men in general but with PCOS they can be a major factor in how well your body improves.

Diet: As I've mentioned in previous posts, your diet is a crucial part of dealing with PCOS. Getting your diet and nutrition on the right track is going to not only help some of your other symptoms but make you feel better about yourself in general. Good nutrition is essential for your body.

Supplements: There are several vitamins, minerals, and herbs that are important for women with PCOS. For a full list of those, click HERE.

Stress reduction: PCOS has a way of raising stress levels for women dealing with it. From the infertility issues to the weight struggles. Mental stress triggers reactions in your body that make PCOS symptoms and fertility issues worse. Yes stess affects fertility. Stress increases the release of certain chemicals in the body that are only meant to be released during times of duress. These have negative effects in your body's overall state. There are several studies showing that reducing stress has had a positive impact on couples struggling with infertility and symptoms of PCOS.
