21 Day Fix: Day 3 Lower Fix

Day 3 of the 21 Day Fix Challenge has come and gone! Today it was Lower Fix and oh boy was that tough to get through!
Obviously the focus was lower body but if you've read any of the previous posts...I'm still sore from Total Body Cardio Fix! This workout was divided into 4 rounds with 15 second breaks between exercises. As usual it starts with a warm up which I modify so I'm not making thud sounds for folks below me. The exercises themselves were not difficult to do, the only reason I struggled was because of the soreness. The first three rounds are on your feet and you use dumbells or a resistance band for added difficulty. For a few of the exercises I went with either a lighter weight or no weights because of my knees,
So what can you expect as far as the exercises? Squats, lunges, side lunges among other things. The last round was my personal favorite. The exercises were all on the my mat and the resistance was your own body weight. The move were easy in theory but you could definitely feel the burn while you were doing them. While the focus was not core, it also worked my abs because I needed to engage them to complete the leg exercises. Like all the other workouts this was only 30 minutes long which I completed as soon as I got home and before I started on dinner.
Tomorrow's workout is Pilates Fix. I've never done pilates so I have no idea what to expect. Yay!
